Hire kits are not souvenirs — they go back on the prepaid label so we can programme the next event. The process is deliberately boring: same box, all badges accounted for, courier collects or you drop at a parcel point. Faces lock when the hire window ends.
Send the kit back when your hire window ends — the calendar dates on your booking, not when the last delegate leaves the building. Face updates stop when the window closes unless you bought the hardware.
If your event runs Monday to Wednesday, the hire days match those calendar days on the invoice formula.
Late returns block the next programming slot — post the box within a day or two of the window ending so another organiser is not waiting on your courier scan.
Put every badge back in the box with bezels protected — loose devices in a jiffy bag are how screens crack. Include all units you received; missing hardware is charged at replacement cost per the terms.
The prepaid label is in the box. Affix it over the old outbound label or as instructed on the packing note.
Check the foam dividers shipped with the kit — they are part of how screens survive the return journey to Cleckheaton.
Book collection or drop at the carrier’s shop depending on what the label specifies. Keep proof of posting until we confirm receipt at Cleckheaton.
Email hire@inkbadgehire.com if the label is missing or damaged — do not guess a random courier account number.
Return postage is already in the £20 hire line — do not buy a separate outbound label unless we tell you to.
Buy at £80 per badge plus £20 postage keeps hardware with you. Year one of the account platform is included, then £30 per month per account. No return label on purchase orders.
Posting one badge in a jiffy bag without the rest — we need the full kit to programme the next customer. Keeping badges until next month’s meeting without extending the hire window — faces may lock when dates end.
Using your own courier without telling us — the prepaid label exists for a reason and tracks to our Cleckheaton dock. If you must use alternate shipping, email first so we can watch for the parcel.
Face data clears after the hire window — return hardware on time so the next organiser’s names can load.
