Visitor days

Hand out badges, not a queue.

A visitor day fails when the foyer becomes a print desk. We programme visitor faces in Cleckheaton — name, VISITOR bar, QR on the right — and ship charged badges so greeters hand hardware out instead of troubleshooting exports.

Programme before dispatch

Import your expected visitor list or paste names in the designer. Use the visitor template — name in black with a red VISITOR bar — or the host look for the member greeting guests. Same 250×122 face, same three inks as every other layout.

Magic links let visitors choose their QR action before they arrive. The face updates while the kit is still here or during the hire window — no lanyard reprint at the door.

Registration desk software is optional — you are not paying for SaaS seats to hand out hardware that already shows the name at 250×122 in three inks.

Greeter workflow in the room

Open the box, match names on the bezel to people in the foyer, clip and go. First-hand: we run this on chapter visitor mornings — the goal is to spend time on introductions, not cable ties and misaligned inserts.

If someone walks in unlisted, add them in the designer during the hire window and swap a spare face from the quantity you ordered. There is no automatic spare in the box — count walk-ins in your booking.

BNI visitor mornings

We feature BNI because we wear the kit in a UK chapter. This is not an official BNI International partnership. Member and visitor faces share hardware; only the layout differs.

Twenty-five badges is the size we use for members plus visitors without a printer panic. Visitor-heavy days may need fifty — see the BNI layout guide for bar placement and chapter mark uploads.

After the session

Collect badges at the door or table. Hire kits return on the prepaid label in the box — pack them the way you received them. Faces wipe when the hire window ends unless you bought the hardware.

Visitor days work best when members already wear programmed faces too — guests see the same white bezel and three-ink layout, not a split room of paper and plastic. One greeter table, one workflow.

Chamber and open mornings

The same ship-ready model fits chamber open days and referral group guest sessions that are not BNI. Upload your organiser mark, pick visitor and member templates, and skip the registration laptop.

Pricing follows quantity × days × £6 plus £20 postage from Cleckheaton — ten badges for a single visitor morning is £80 hire plus postage if you hire for one calendar day.
